McAllen Memorial's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against McAllen by a score of 2-0. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rivera). They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Mercedes two weeks ago. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their one-goal performance the game before.

McAllen Memorial pushed their record up to 9-5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Rivera, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5-1.
