Softball Recap: Atkins Has No Trouble Against Two Rivers

Atkins won the last time they faced Two Rivers and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Devils blew past the Gators 12-1. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Atkins and bumps their season record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Two Rivers, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Atkins is set to face off against their familiar foe Glen Rose at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Two Rivers will challenge rival Dover at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
