Baseball Recap: Alexander Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Alexander's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let the Laredo LBJ Wolves get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-0 last Tuesday.

Alexander pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Laredo LBJ, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.
