Basketball Recap: Twin Valley Takes a Loss

Twin Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Holston Cavaliers and fell 68-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-47 two weeks ago.

Twin Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Holston, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tazewell at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tazewell will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Twin Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Holston, they will venture away from home to take on Castlewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Castlewood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
