Basketball Game Preview: Wendell Trojans vs. Buhl Indians

Wendell is 2-8 against Buhl since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Wendell Trojans will get right back to it and host the Buhl Indians at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Wendell easily dispatched Shoshone on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Wendell fell just short of Carey by a score of 37-34 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Trojans have suffered since December 21, 2024.

Meanwhile, Buhl was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-33 heartbreaker at the hands of Gooding.

Buhl's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Wendell, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

Everything went Wendell's way against Buhl when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Wendell made off with a 55-34 victory. Does Wendell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Buhl turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
