Claysburg-Kimmel strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Windber Ramblers with a sharp 8-1 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jaylee Swindell was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was McKenna Black, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Claysburg-Kimmel pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Windber, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-1.

Claysburg-Kimmel has already played their next game, a 9-2 victory against Southern Huntingdon County on the 2nd. As for Windber, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-5 win against Meyersdale on the 3rd.
