Soccer Recap: Anna Takes a Loss

In Friday's Canine Competition, Anna had to take the L. They fell 3-1 to the McKinney North Bulldogs on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 435th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 43rd).

Anna's goal came courtesy of Brandon Jurado, who's now up to two this season.

Anna now has a losing record at 3-4. As for McKinney North, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Anna will be playing in front of their home fans against Melissa at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McKinney North, they will square off against Denison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McKinney North's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Denison's offense will have their work cut out for them.
