After a string of four wins, Chase County's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Overton Eagles. If the Longhorns were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chase County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Overton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-1.
