Soccer Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shawnee can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Booker T. Washington Hornets on Tuesday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Shawnee couldn't quite close it out.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Booker T. Washington, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-8-1.

Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Booker T. Washington, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Classen SAS at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Booker T. Washington have won four straight at home, while Classen SAS won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
