Baseball Recap: Lone Peak Comes Up Short

Lone Peak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Beaverhead County Beavers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-9 on April 1st.

Lone Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Beaverhead County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lone Peak will take on rival East Helena at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Beaverhead County is set to square off against their familiar foe Frenchtown at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
