Softball Game Preview: Algonquin Regional Titans vs. North Middlesex Regional Patriots

The Algonquin Regional Titans will venture away from home to challenge the North Middlesex Regional Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Middlesex Regional took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Algonquin Regional, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Algonquin Regional turned things around against Groton-Dunstable on Friday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Crusaders.

Meanwhile, North Middlesex Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Lunenburg, falling 17-5.

Algonquin Regional's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for North Middlesex Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

Everything went Algonquin Regional's way against North Middlesex Regional in their previous matchup back in April, as Algonquin Regional made off with a 14-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
