Volleyball Recap: Heights Comes Up Short

Heights was the 2-0 winner over Carnegie Vanguard when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Rhinos on Friday.

Emily Hasbrouck paced Heights' offense, picking up 12 kills. Hasbrouck got some help from Emmerson Weiss and her 17 assists. Catherine Penfold controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Heights' loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Carnegie Vanguard, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Heights wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Freeman on the 22nd. As for Carnegie Vanguard, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Westside on the 22nd.
