Volleyball Recap: Upperman Beats Washburn for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Upperman had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Washburn Pirates by a score of 2-0.

Josie Bush paced Upperman's offense, picking up seven kills. Bush got some help from Emery Huddleston and her 19 assists. Emma Pruitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Upperman's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Washburn, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6.

Upperman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Chattahoochee on the 12th. As for Washburn, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Southwestern on the 12th.
