After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fruitland, McCall-Donnelly was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Payette Pirates. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vandals as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: McCall-Donnelly took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-5, 25-10.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 8-6. As for Payette, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

McCall-Donnelly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Oakley on the 4th. As for Payette, they will be playing at home against Fruitland at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
