Softball Recap: Columbus East Olympians vs. Indian Creek Braves
Columbus East had lost three straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 7-15 to make it four. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indian Creek Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Olympians of the 4-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Jacque Boroughs spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits.
As for Indian Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
