Volleyball Recap: Stern Comes Up Short

After flying high against Neuwirth Leadership Academy last Friday, Stern came back down to earth. The Stern Titans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harbor Teacher Monarchs on Monday.

While Stern ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-27, 25-20, 25-23.

Stern's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Stern will welcome Port of Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harbor Teacher, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Gardena at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
