Dumas has no trouble against Borger

The Dumas Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Borger 61-41. Given Dumas' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Borger is ranked 1376th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Borger still got an impressive performance from Tahqulin Brooks, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 19 rebounds. The contest was Brooks' 11th in a row with at least ten points.

Dumas is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Borger, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Dumas will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pampa at 7:30 p.m. Pampa is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games. As for Borger, they will head out on the road to face off against West Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Plains' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
