Geibel Catholic's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Seth Dolan, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals. Dolan scored a full 41.9% of Geibel Catholic's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Evan Jellots was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Marion Center's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Mccoy, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamden Rozier, who scored 12 points.
Geibel Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marion Center, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Geibel Catholic will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Cheswick Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. As for Marion Center, they will head out on the road to face off against Portage at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
