River View is 5-0 against Meadow Bridge since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The River View Raiders will be playing at home against the Meadow Bridge Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

River View is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since March 6, 2024 on Saturday. They were outmatched by Tug Valley and fell 60-33. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Meadow Bridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount View.

Defeat or not, Meadow Bridge got some senior leadership from Kierston Rozell and Kaitlyn Cooper. Rozell went 7 for 11 en route to 21 points along with five assists and three steals, while Cooper posted eight points and three steals. With that strong performance, Rozell is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game.

River View has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Meadow Bridge, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Everything came up roses for River View against Meadow Bridge in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 71-29 victory. Does River View have another victory up their sleeve, or will Meadow Bridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
