Basketball Recap: Greenwich Country Day Has No Trouble Against Frederick Gunn

After losing to Frederick Gunn the last time they met, Greenwich Country Day decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Greenwich Country Day Tigers enjoyed a cozy 69-53 win over the Frederick Gunn Highlanders on Wednesday. The Tigers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

When it comes to explaining why Frederick Gunn lost, don't look at Harrison Muntner. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Muntner a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Robinson, who earned ten points and six boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Greenwich Country Day and bumps their season record up to 3-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 7-12 Frederick Gunn (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 43.4% over those games).
