Otay Ranch lost to Valhalla back in September of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Norsemen. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Daeja Lewis paced Otay Ranch's offense, picking up six kills. Lewis got some help from Sienna Carter and her 12 assists. Alexa Casiano controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Otay Ranch's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Valhalla, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
