Recap: Barr-Reeve Vikings vs. Washington Catholic Cardinals

The Barr-Reeve Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Washington Catholic 68-11 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Barr-Reeve has managed all season.

Barr-Reeve's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Willow Thompson led the charge by scoring 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Paighton Parsons, who scored 13 points.

Barr-Reeve pushed their record up to 8-9 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Washington Catholic, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.

Barr-Reeve will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Northeast Dubois at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Northeast Dubois focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Thursday. As for Washington Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Evansville HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
