Cedar has gone a perfect 8-0 against Dixie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Reds will challenge the Flyers at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Cedar came up short against Crimson Cliffs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Reds in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

While Cedar was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Crimson Cliffs' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Dixie lost 3-0 to Desert Hills on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-14.

Cedar now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Dixie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-23.

Cedar got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Dixie by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Reds since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
