Sipsey Valley lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hale County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's matchup. The Bears were the clear victors by a 15-9 margin over the Wildcats on Thursday. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Katie Grace Lowery, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Ella Kate Lyons was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.

With the victory, Sipsey Valley broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-15. As for Hale County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coming up, Sipsey Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Northside at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hale County, they will venture away from home to challenge Pleasant Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
