Softball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Starts Season with Loss at Home

Kenosha Tremper unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 13-3 to the Union Grove Broncos on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Aubrey Juga made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Camille Sporer was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Kenosha Tremper and Union Grove will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Kenosha Tremper is set to square off against their familiar foe Kenosha Bradford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Union Grove will challenge rival Badger at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
