Volleyball Recap: Chickasha Fighting Chicks vs. Bethany Bronchos
Chickasha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethany Bronchos. If the Fighting Chicks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bronchos when the teams met back in September of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20.
KK Willard paced Chickasha's offense, picking up seven kills. Willard got some help from Zoee Jones and her nine assists.
Chickasha's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Bethany, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.
Chickasha wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Putnam City on the 13th. As for Bethany, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Oklahoma Christian on the 16th.
