Basketball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

Mountain View suffered their biggest loss since January 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 67-31 defeat at the hands of the Redmond Panthers. The Cougars lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 59-56 score last time.

Mountain View dropped their record down to 7-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Redmond, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coming up, Mountain View will be playing at home against Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View is facing Bend at the right time seeing as Bend is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Redmond, they are taking a road trip to challenge Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Summit will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Redmond surely won't give up without a fight.
