After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Leadership Academy, Triad Math and Science Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Piedmont Classical Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 27, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Triad Math and Science Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Piedmont Classical between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-15.

Triad Math and Science Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Piedmont Classical, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

Triad Math and Science Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Phoenix Academy on the 7th. As for Piedmont Classical, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Cornerstone Charter on the 7th.
