Football Recap: Brandt Nelson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Park City + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Twin Bridges, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Park City Panthers by a score of 65-58 on Friday. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 54-0 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2021.

Twin Bridges' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brandt Nelson led the charge by throwing for 353 yards and eight TDs while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt. Hunter Turk was Nelson's top target, picking up 169 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Another reason for the win was Twin Bridges' imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Flint Janzen.

Twin Bridges' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Park City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Twin Bridges is taking a road trip to challenge Flint Creek co-op [Drummond/Granite] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Park City, they will welcome Lone Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Big Horns have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
