Soccer Recap: York Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

York won the last time they faced Camden and things went their way on Tuesday too. The York Cougars walked away with a 4-2 win over the Camden Bulldogs. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cougars needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

They hit Camden with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Vinicius Jansen (2), Matias Montiel Rivera, and Cesar Mendoza.

The victory (which was York's third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1. As for Camden, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. York will take on Richland Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. York is facing Richland Northeast at the right time seeing as Richland Northeast is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Camden, they will challenge Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Camden is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
