Basketball Recap: Daingerfield Comes Up Short

Daingerfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat. They took a 66-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hughes Springs Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent loss being a 72-27 defeat back in January.

Daingerfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Hughes Springs, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-18.

Daingerfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hughes Springs, they have already played their next contest, a 44-24 defeat against Union Grove on the 7th.
