Basketball Recap: Pansophia Academy Takes a Loss

Pansophia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Tekonsha Indians, falling 48-27. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pansophia Pumas of the 57-17 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Tekonsha got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reagan Henry out in front who posted 15 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. That's the most points Henry has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emily Rizo, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards.

Pansophia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Tekonsha, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-13.

Pansophia Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tekonsha, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-30 defeat against Burr Oak on the 5th.
