Football Recap: Villa Grove Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Villa Grove unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Cumberland Pirates 41-0 on Friday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Jackson Gire threw for 115 yards on 12 of 25 attempts. Aidan Henry was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards.
