Softball Recap: Lima Christian Comes Up Short

Lima Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Friendship Golden Eagles, falling 17-5. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Jordyn Warsaw made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played. Alyssa Marsh was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Lima Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Friendship, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Lima Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-7 win against Franklin on the 12th. As for Friendship, they have also already played their next game, a 17-1 defeat against Bolivar-Richburg on the 10th.
