Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Everything came up roses for Trinity Christian against Southwest Christian School in their previous meeting back in January of 2016, as the squad secured a 93-31 victory. In that game, Trinity Christian amassed a halftime lead of 50-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
