Millville barely beat Canton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Quakers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp  9-3 win on Saturday. The Quakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six  runs or more this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Shane Johnson, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and two  runs. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Nathan Benedict was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  run.
Millville's victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-2. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Canton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millville will challenge Montgomery at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Canton, they will face off against Sayre at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Redskins at the right time seeing as the Redskins are stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak.
