Basketball Recap: Goodrich Takes a Loss

Goodrich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats, falling 61-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-18 two weeks ago.

Goodrich's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Hull-Daisetta, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Goodrich will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Spurger at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Hull-Daisetta will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Leggett at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
