Moulton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last seven games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Austwell-Tivoli Redfish at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moulton's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Austwell-Tivoli's offense will have their work cut out for Austwell-Tivoli.
Last Friday, the stars were shining brightly for Moulton in a 33-15 win over Runge. Given Moulton's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 731st, while Runge is ranked 1551st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Austwell-Tivoli's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Pettus, falling 60-32.
Moulton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. As for Austwell-Tivoli, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Moulton against Austwell-Tivoli in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 64-21 win. With Moulton ahead 35-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
