Basketball Recap: Bonduel Takes a Loss

If Bonduel was feeling good fresh off their 62-23 takedown of Shiocton last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bonduel Bears lost 67-45 to the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-40 back in January.

Bonduel's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Wittenberg-Birnamwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.

Bonduel and Wittenberg-Birnamwood should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Bonduel will square off against Wabeno/Laona at 7:00 p.m. on Monday up 184 places (47 vs. 231). Bonduel will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Wittenberg-Birnamwood (ranked 17th) will meet Northland Pines (ranked 365th) at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
