Marvin Mims of Lone Star didn't just top the list of wide receivers in Texas this season, he topped the national list as well.

The future Oklahoma Sooner broke the national record for receiving yards in a season with 2,626 to go along with 31 touchdowns. He had a season high 303 yards in a playoff win over College Station in late November.

Mims wasn't the only 2,000-yard pass-catcher in the Lone Star State in 2019. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, an Ohio State recruit, piled up 2,132 yards. That total includes a 15-catch, 258-yard performance against Allen in an epic playoff win.
