Volleyball Recap: Hills-Beaver Creek Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hills-Beaver Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hills-Beaver Creek wouldn't go down easily and took Edgerton into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 23-25, 22-25, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Edgerton had strong showings from Liana Bloemendaal, who had 13 digs, and Johanna Fleischman, who had six kills.

Hills-Beaver Creek now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Edgerton, they dropped their record down to 3-6-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
