Soccer Recap: Crystal River Comes Up Short

Crystal River was the 8-0 winner over Seven Rivers Christian when they last played one another back in January of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Crystal River Pirates came up short against the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors on Tuesday, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly six goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Crystal River and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Crystal River has already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Springstead on the 8th. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic on the 9th.
