Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Prep Saints vs. Crooms Academy Panthers

The Trinity Prep Saints will head out to face off against the Crooms Academy Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Trinity Prep earned a 3-1 victory over Orlando Science. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Trinity Prep was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Crooms Academy posted their closest win since March 25th on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Edgewater 3-2.

Crooms Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-27, 25-21, 25-17, 15-12.

Trinity Prep's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. As for Crooms Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13.

Trinity Prep came up short against Crooms Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
