Softball Game Preview: Ridley Raiders vs. Harriton Rams

The Ridley Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Harriton Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Harriton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridley, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Ridley made easy work of Upper Darby and carried off a 14-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Harriton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Penncrest.

Ridley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Harriton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Ridley's way against Harriton when the teams last played back in April of 2018, as Ridley made off with a 16-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridley since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
