Basketball Recap: South Lenoir Victorious

South Lenoir won the last time they faced Dixon and things went their way on Wednesday too. The South Lenoir Blue Devils came out on top against the Dixon Bulldogs by a score of 50-37.

Dixon's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacorian Taylor, who posted ten points and seven boards. Taylor is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Grady Adams, who had 12 points.

South Lenoir's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Dixon, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

South Lenoir will face off against James Kenan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Lenoir is facing James Kenan at the right time seeing as James Kenan is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Dixon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Croatan at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Croatan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matchups.
