McCook lost against Kearney back in October of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bison fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 2-1. The Bison's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

McCook's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Kearney, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. McCook will take on Gothenburg on Thursday. As for Kearney, they will square off against Norfolk on Tuesday.
