Football Recap: Lawrence Starts Season with Win on the Road

Lawrence had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Lynn Classical Rams 16-14. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Although Lynn Classical took the loss, they still got scores from Gianni McKay and Doug Andrade.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lawrence will take on Whittier RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lynn Classical, they will square off against Everett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
