Baseball Recap: St. Mary's Comes Up Short

St. Mary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the St. Paul's Crusaders. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for St. Paul's, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. Mary's will head out to square off against North County at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Paul's, they will venture away from home to face off against St. John's Catholic Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
