Basketball Recap: Westlake Falls Despite Big Games from Ethan Minkan and Israel Warner

Westlake lost against Severna Park back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wolverines fell 61-48 to the Falcons.

Westlake's loss came despite strong showings from Israel Warner and Ethan Minkan. Warner went 7-for-9 on his way to 15 points, while Minkan posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Dominick Wallace-Lewis, who earned seven points.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Severna Park, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Westlake will square off against St. Charles on Friday. As for Severna Park, they will head out to challenge Broadneck at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
