Basketball Recap: Immanuel Christian Comes Up Short

Immanuel Christian won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They took a blow against the Lone Pine Golden Eagles, falling 84-27. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lone Pine can attribute much of their success to Ralph Enriquez, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. That's the most points Enriquez has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Noah Quezada, who posted seven points and six assists.

Immanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Lone Pine, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Immanuel Christian has already played their next game, a 63-23 loss against Baker on the 29th. As for Lone Pine, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-15 victory against Lee Vining on the 28th.
